The Sidmouth Horse Trials, A.K.A. Hobby Horse of the Year Show, were founded by fRoots proprieter Ian Anderson and are run under the auspices of the Hong Kong Jokey Club.
The trophy is kindly donated by Peter Lord, founder of Aardman Animations.
The Horse Trials are sponsored by Sidmouth Folk Week.
